Our first Holiday Claiming Partnership made its way to the winner’s circle on Sunday, April 4th, as Gentle Annie took the 7th race at Aqueduct. The Natalia Lynch trainee circled the field in the stretch and outlasted an outside challenge to win by a long neck.
Claimed for $10k in January, Annie took on allowance company the prior week, but faced some stiff competition. Dropping back down to the NY-bred ranks in claiming company, and on only a weeks rest, she splashed home with the win under jockey Sammy Camacho, much to the delight of our partners.
