Our 3-year-old homebred filly Ahsoka crossed the finish line first in a race at the Middleburg Hunt Club’s Point-to-Point meet on Sunday, April 30th for trainer Keri Brion and amateur jockey Taylor Kingsley. Ahsoka was the winner of the Samuel E. Bogley Memorial Maiden Flat going 1 1/4 miles on the turf.

A NY-bred daughter of Weekend Hideaway, out of our multiple winner Viserion, Ahsoka has been based at Fair Hill Training Center under the care of trainer Keri Brion. A May foal, she’s been a little slow to develop, but now that she’s tasted life in the winner’s circle we’re hoping the lightbulb has gone off and she will continue to progress.

Ahsoka’s 2-year-old full brother Kenobi is currently in training in Virginia and will hopefully join his sister on the track later this year.

Being a non-sanctioned race (no starting gate), Ahsoka will still be considered a maiden when she hits the track again. Good luck, Ahsoka!
