Fresh off the 3rd place stakes finish for our steeplechase runner Going Country at Saratoga for trainer Keri Brion, we’ve partnered with the multiple Grade 1 winning trainer again on a horse for the flats, and you’re invited along for the ride!

This filly “Anoint” is out of the sire Temple City, whose progeny have won multiple races at the highest level and performed well on all surfaces. Anoint is a homebred for Hall-of-Fame trainer Jonathan Shepherd, Keri’s mentor. The horse won first out as a 2-year-old (against the boys) and then went into stakes company her next two outings before going to the sidelines with an ankle chip and an ownership dispute. That was in 2020, as the pandemic was raising its ugly head. Flash forward to now, and the filly is back in training, all legal/medical issues resolved, and about a month away from a race. She will be based at the Fair Hill Training Center and will look to run in Pennsylvania (she’s a PA-bred) and the Mid-Atlantic region. Jonathan Shepherd’s homebreds only get better with age, so at 4-years-old, she has a lot of flat – and very likely steeplechase – racing ahead of her.

So what’s the bottom line? We’re offering shares of this horse in increments of 2.5% for $875 buy-in per share. Monthly bills will be a fixed $75 per 2.5% share. This is a great opportunity to get in on a horse outside NY, who is ready to run, and has lots of upside on a variety of surfaces. There is fun in our future with this filly!
