Blue Streak Racing is excited to announce our last 2-year-old partnership of 2023 forming now! We’ve been fortunate to acquire an interest in this NY-bred son of freshman sire Maximus Mischief and are thrilled to offer our partners an ownership opportunity with a top horse in a top barn.
Trainer Tom Morley, who will handle our colt based out of Belmont, is currently at Royal Ascot where he’s banging heads with the best trainers and horses in the world. The horse he’s taken over to run in the Queen Anne Stakes was purchased by the same team as this colt!
Maximus Mischief is on the short-list of our crack team at Oracle Bloodstock for breakout sire of the year. As a son of top sire Into Mischief, he’s got the track credentials and breeding to be a real player in the 2-year-old ranks this year (Maximus Mischief already has two 2yo maiden winners from his first crop). This colt – named Woke Up Quick – proved to be just that, as he posted a bullet work of 9:4/5 seconds for an eighth of a mile during the April Ocala Breeders Sale. See the breeze here.

As with all our horses, we try to keep the buy-in affordable, and after that, you only pay your share of monthly bills. This horse will be especially affordable.We’ll be offering these shares for $900 per 1%. Monthly bills are estimated to be a low $35/month per 1%!
