Our first foray into steeplechase racing has gotten off to a bang in 2022 with our horse Going Country winning in consecutive weeks in Tryon, North Carolina and at the Middleburg, Virginia meets. Campaigned in partnership with The International Venture and Metahorse Racing, the Keri Brion trainee now has two wins and a second in four career starts. Going Country was acquired by Brion in Ireland by Baltimore Stables with the express intent to bring to America. The 5-year old is a son of top European stallion Yeats (IRE), out of a Be My Native mare. Going Country pushed his career earnings to $38,500 and will next be pointed to the Grade II David Semmes Stakes at the prestigious Virginia Gold Cup meet on Kentucky Derby day. Good luck all!
