Blue Streak Racing hasn’t celebrated our 4th year of existence yet, however, we’ve been lucky enough to visit the winner’s circle multiple times with with three different horses, and campaigned several others to race placings. Today we recount our first victory with a managed horse; January 9th, 2018. On that day at PARX outside of Philadelphia, the Tres Abbott trained Viserion (known as the Ice Dragon) took the 4th race by just over a length. Some of our partners who were there that day got to enjoy the spoils of victory and a picture in the winner’s circle to commemorate the event. She’d end up winning another race later in the year, then be retired to broodmare duty. She’s currently at Irish Hill and Century Farm outside Saratoga Springs, NY, in-foal to freshman sire Weekend Hideaway.

Thanks for the memories, Ice Dragon. Hopefully we’ll see your babies on the track, and in our silks, in the coming years.

Viserion in early December, clearly enjoying retirement, and starting to show that baby bump. She’s due in May 2020.
