The Class of ’21 Blue Streak Racing yearling purchases have completed their preliminary breaking and training in Florida and have relocated to their respective barns at Belmont Park in New York to continue their progression to possible starts in the coming months on the prestigious NYRA circuit.

Our August Saratoga NY-bred sale grad Bad Samaritan (Good Samaritan out of Done and Dusted) looks to be an early runner and did everything right over the Winter in Ocala. A good looking chestnut filly, ‘Bad Sam’ is in the care of Ray Handal, and will be campaigned with our partners Ken Russel and Brody Racing Stable.

We’re thrilled to add Natalia Lynch to our roster of trainers, and were happy to have purchased Irish Empress out of the October Fasig-Tipton Mid-Atlantic Sale for her. The NY-bred filly by Classic Empire may need a little more time to make the races, but after a mid-Winter growth spurt, we’re cautiously optimistic that she’ll be ready to go for the Saratoga meet.

A big shoutout to Raul Reyes and his team at Kings Equine in Ocala. Raul has broken and trained all of our yearling the last three years, and we’ve been excited by the results. And last – but certainly not least – we’re grateful to our partners, old and new, that have chosen to go on this journey with us. Good luck to all, and stay tuned for more!
