Monday, August 20, 2018. A typical Monday afternoon at the Saratoga meet, except that in the 5th race on that day a small, three-horse outfit made its debut at arguably the most prestigious race meet in the country.

Having grown up in Saratoga, and worked many a summer at the hallowed track, it was always a dream to come back one day as an owner and to actually race. Well, that dream came to fruition when Missle Bomb went to the post in race 5.  Although he came up short of the win – with a game 2nd – that did nothing to diminish the result. It’s great for an outfit not quite a year into its existence. We look forward to moving toward the races with our 2-year old Posse filly, Prairie Fire, and Viserion continues to do her thing at Fair Hill and rack up productive starts. Thanks to our trainer Ray Handal, jockey Kendrick Carmouche, and all those that contributed to this moment.

And even though we lost Missle Bomb to the claim, we will be back with Ray to claim again in the near future. If you’d like to get in on the action, don’t hesitate to email or give us a call. Maybe you too could be living the dream with Blue Streak Racing.
