Blue Streak Racing had runners on consecutive nights at Hollywood Casino and Racing at Charlestown, WV on September 10th and 11th, 2020.
Our newest horse – Merry Merry Mojo – ran into a tough bunch and was 4th to a much the best runner. He came out of the race in fine shape, and we’ll look to run Mojo back sometime in early October.
Schlosser also ran into a 3-5 favorite that was much the best, and we battled with that horse for most of the race before fading in the stretch to finish 6th. Schlosser looks to be ideal at a little shorter distance, so we’ll look for a 7/8ths spot in the next book.
Although we’ve yet to crack the winner’s circle, we’re going to keep plugging away with our three horse string and look for more opportunity to add runners and spot them in competitive spots. Stay tuned!
