Our 5-year-old mare Anoint made it 1-for-1 off a four-month layoff with a fantastic effort to take a salty first-level allowance at Presque Isle Downs on Wednesday, May 24th.
Thanks to a great ride by jockey Willie Martinez, the PA-bred Keri Brion trainee was able to stalk an early pace from near the back of the pack, then pounce late in the stretch to win by a neck!
