Anoint, our recent acquisition with trainer Keri Brion and Dark Horse Stables, debuted on the synthetic at Presque Isle Downs on October 10th in a PA-bred first-level allowance after a nearly two-year break from the races, and the result was a nice 2nd place finish after a troubled trip.

The 4-year-old daughter of Temple City handled the mile distance easily, despite being forced wide most of the way around and getting cut-off in the stretch. An inquiry/objection did not change the outcome, but she was definitely the best horse on this day. We look forward to her next race, and it’s only a matter of time until she breaks through for us. Nice race, Anoint, and great job by Team Brion!
